Supporting Buddhini through Hodgkin lymphoma: medication, transport to the Colombo Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.

Buddhini was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the Colombo Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Buddhini is 35, worked as a hairdresser until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Colombo Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $780
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Transport to the Colombo Oncology Institute: $150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $145
• Household costs while unable to work: $185
