Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Quentin afford treatment in Paris
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Paris Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇫🇷 Paris, Île-de-France, France715 views
Quentin was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in January. The oncology team at Paris Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Quentin is 43, worked as a construction supervisor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Paris Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Transport to Paris Cancer Centre: $390
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $560
• Household costs while unable to work: $700
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
