Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Peyton afford treatment in Los Angeles
Supporting Peyton through early-stage lung cancer: medication, transport to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States503 views
Peyton was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in April. The oncology team at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Peyton is 51, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,800
• Scans and lab work: $1,600
• Transport to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center: $520
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $320
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,310
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there, Charles. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Los Angeles
thinking of you and your family. Wishing Peyton a smooth procedure and a full recovery. All the best
So sorry you're going through this, Charles. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
