Laura was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in November. The oncology team at Dallas University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Laura is 32, worked as a hairdresser until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dallas University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
