Fighting colon cancer: help Mehwish afford treatment in Quetta
Supporting Mehwish through colon cancer: medication, transport to the Quetta Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
🇵🇰 Pakistan823 views
Mehwish was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at the Quetta Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Mehwish is 34, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Quetta Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $760
• Transport to the Quetta Oncology Institute: $30
