Jasmine was diagnosed with colon cancer in November. The oncology team at Manila Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Jasmine is 58, worked as a bank teller until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manila Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,450 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75 • Transport to Manila Cancer Centre: $125 Every share and every dollar helps.
