Fighting colon cancer: help Alina afford treatment in Kyiv

Alina was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at Kyiv University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Alina is 46, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kyiv University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
