Trupti was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February. The oncology team at Kanpur Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Trupti is 48, worked as a bakery worker until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kanpur Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,450 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100 • Scans and lab work: $240 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Chirag

  1. Quick update: $80 raised so far (6%). the plan for nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
