Fighting cervical cancer: help Ignacio afford treatment in Dayton
Ignacio is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ignacio was diagnosed with cervical cancer in May. The oncology team at Dayton University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Ignacio is 48, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dayton University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $1,600
• Transport to Dayton University Hospital: $920
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $880
• Household costs while unable to work: $900
