Fighting cervical cancer: help Craig afford treatment in San Diego
12 rounds of treatment are planned at San Diego Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Craig was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at San Diego Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Craig is 45, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $6,200 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $670
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,380
