Bijay is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Bhaktapur
Bijay was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Bhaktapur University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Bijay is 50, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bhaktapur University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $750 goes: • Scans and lab work: $130 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $400 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 • Transport to Bhaktapur University Hospital: $110 Thanks for being kind about this. - Indira
