Fighting cervical cancer: help Aleena afford treatment in Multan
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Multan Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇵🇰 Pakistan506 views
Aleena was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at Multan Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Aleena is 27, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Multan Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $900 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $110
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $710
• Transport to Multan Regional Medical Center: $80
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

wishing you the best, Hira. Shared this with my family. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Aleena?
Good luck, Hira. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Multan.
Thinking of you and your family, Hira. This could happen to any of us. Blessings.
