Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Yevhen afford treatment in Saint Petersburg
Yevhen is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Yevhen was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March. The oncology team at Saint Petersburg University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Yevhen is 43, worked as a bakery worker until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saint Petersburg University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,850
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $160
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- Anton
