Thierry was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November. The oncology team at Paris Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Thierry is 37, worked as a bus conductor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Paris Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $9,750 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750 • Scans and lab work: $1,300 • Transport to Paris Cancer Centre: $500 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $320 • Household costs while unable to work: $880 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Valérie
