Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Megan afford treatment in Detroit

Megan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February. The oncology team at Detroit Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Megan is 43, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Detroit Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
