Marwan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at Salé Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Marwan is 52, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Salé Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,250 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,750 • Transport to Salé Regional Medical Center: $210 • Scans and lab work: $180 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
