Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Lubna afford treatment in Casablanca
Lubna is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
Anywhere in the world312 views
Lubna was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Casablanca Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Lubna is 27, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Casablanca Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Transport to Casablanca Cancer Centre: $155
• Household costs while unable to work: $395
Every share and every dollar helps.

Stay strong. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Bogotá
Wishing you peace. Get well soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
