Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Delilah afford treatment in Liverpool
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Liverpool Regional Medical Center; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.
🇬🇧 Liverpool, England, United Kingdom1,172 views
Delilah was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Liverpool Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Delilah is 56, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Liverpool Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,050 goes:
• Transport to Liverpool Regional Medical Center: $700
• Scans and lab work: $610
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,740
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 7 people at work
shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Bengaluru this morning. All the best.
Is transport to Liverpool Regional Medical Center the biggest cost or is there more coming?
It's all in the list in the story. transport to Liverpool Regional Medical Center is the big one at $700, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. It helps to be asked.
Hope the doctors have good news. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings
Best of luck, Zoey. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I hope October is when things finally get easier. God bless.
