Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Anum afford treatment in Faisalabad
Anum is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan487 views
Anum was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at the Faisalabad Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Anum is 44, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Faisalabad Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $920
• Scans and lab work: $125
• Transport to the Faisalabad Oncology Institute: $65
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Household costs while unable to work: $145
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you and your family, Bisma. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending strength, Bisma. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings
