Vinícius was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in September. The oncology team at the Santarém Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Vinícius is 26, worked as a farmer until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Santarém Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
