Madhavan is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Madhavan was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at the Rajkot Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Madhavan is 46, worked as a tailor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Rajkot Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team comes first ($60) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for asking.
