Lipi was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at Gazipur Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Lipi is 26, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gazipur Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
