Ghassan was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in May. The oncology team at Jeddah University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Ghassan is 34, worked as a hairdresser until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jeddah University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,850 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $1,300 • Scans and lab work: $420 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,900 • Transport to Jeddah University Hospital: $230 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
