Bruno was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Rio de Janeiro Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Bruno is 52, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rio de Janeiro Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
