Femi needs an adapted tricycle - help us make it happen
Help Femi get an adapted tricycle so He can join the school sports day.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria1,130 views
Femi lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Lagos Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Femi could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $500 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $50
• adapted tricycle: $415
Thanks for being kind about this.
