Feed 362 families each week at Bread & Beans Kitchen in Caxias do Sul
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Caxias do Sul.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Monday from the back of a community center. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 362 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Caxias do Sul market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $850 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $170
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $230
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $450
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Stay strong, Antônia. Hope this works out for you. God bless.
Hang in there. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Caxias do Sul.
