The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Anaheim is running low just as demand rises; $2,450 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 348 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Anaheim market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $430
• Baby formula and diapers: $210
• Refrigeration and electricity: $310
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Stay strong, Nolan. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Takoradi.
Wishing you peace, Nolan. Shared this with my family. Please keep us posted
Great idea, hope you get there. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Boulogne-Billancourt
