Heinz runs a volunteer pantry feeding 347 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 347 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 37% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Munich market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $370
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $610
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,470
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
