Feed 345 families each week at Bread & Beans Kitchen in Faisalabad
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Faisalabad.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Saturday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 12 families, and now we feed 345 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 57% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Faisalabad market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $185
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Baby formula and diapers: $70
• Refrigeration and electricity: $10
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings!
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Mysuru.
