Feed 331 families each week at the Thursday Table in San Sebastián
The the Thursday Table pantry in San Sebastián is running low just as demand rises; $1,850 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 331 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Sebastián market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $910
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $450
• Baby formula and diapers: $270
• Refrigeration and electricity: $220

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Qasim.
Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) is $910 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
