Feed 321 families each week at Community Pantry in Rome
Lorenzo runs a volunteer pantry feeding 321 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 321 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 43% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rome market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,250
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $470
• Baby formula and diapers: $150
• Refrigeration and electricity: $180
Thanks for being kind about this.

So sorry you're going through this. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
