Feed 307 families each week at Community Pantry in Celaya

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 307 each week. Donations have dropped by about 52% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Celaya market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $600 goes: • Baby formula and diapers: $85 • Refrigeration and electricity: $70 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $445 Every share and every dollar helps.
