Kristine runs a volunteer pantry feeding 299 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Sunday from the back of a community center. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 299 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 58% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Pasig market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $185
• Baby formula and diapers: $130
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sure. The biggest one is fresh vegetables and fruit, $85. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
