Feed 280 families each week at Bread & Beans Kitchen in Badagry
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Badagry.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 280 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Badagry market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $300 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $30
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $145
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thank you all. We're at 24% now ($73). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts.
