Feed 268 families each week at the Second Helping in Quetta
The the Second Helping pantry in Quetta is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Monday from the back of a community center. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 268 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Quetta market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $200 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
• Baby formula and diapers: $30
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140

is there anything that isn't money that would help Sumbal?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about refrigeration and electricity, advice is welcome too. Fair thing to want to know.

Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 10 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sumbal
It's all in the list in the story. refrigeration and electricity is the big one at $30, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for asking.
