Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Macon.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Sunday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 253 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 47% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Macon market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $270
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $870
• Baby formula and diapers: $260
Every share and every dollar helps.

So sorry you're going through this. Great idea, hope you get there. Thinking of Macon.
Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Hyderabad but we're thinking of you

Good luck, Dylan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Tema.
