Feed 240 families each week at the Second Helping in Pasig
The the Second Helping pantry in Pasig is running low just as demand rises; $300 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 11 families, and now we feed 240 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 52% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Pasig market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $300 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $135
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $100
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
