Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 160 each week. Donations have dropped by about 56% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Abuja market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $200 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85 • Refrigeration and electricity: $45 • Baby formula and diapers: $70 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Wishing you peace, Peace. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Anaheim.

    • Sending love, Peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

      • Praying for you, Peace. Great idea, hope you get there. Greetings from Wudil.
