Feed 120 families each week at the Second Helping in Nizamabad

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 120 each week. Donations have dropped by about 47% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Nizamabad market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $250 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $60 • Baby formula and diapers: $50 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $140 Thank you so much. - Kirit
