Feed 101 families each week at the Sunday Shelf in Anaheim
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Anaheim is running low just as demand rises; $2,600 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 101 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Anaheim market and keep every receipt.
Each $50 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $920
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $840
• Baby formula and diapers: $440
• Refrigeration and electricity: $400
