Favour needs a cold-storage unit to reopen a small grocery stall
Favour lost a cold-storage unit to floodwater and needs $450 to reopen a small grocery stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a small grocery stall in Ogbomosho. In July, floodwater took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $200
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80
• Working capital for the first month: $115
I hope life is good to you.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Ogbomosho.
Thank you. If you're in Ogbomosho I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for looking so closely.
Hope it all works out, Favour. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Nashik donated after I showed her your page.
