Fatima's thyroid cancer treatment fund

Fatima was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in January. The oncology team at the Shubra Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Fatima is 34, worked as a bank teller until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Shubra Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
