Farewell fund for Wafula: help Kariuki's family in Entebbe
After the sudden passing of Wafula, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇺🇬 Central Region, Uganda766 views
Wafula, my brother, passed away on 7 March after a stroke. He was 72 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Wafula to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $250 goes:
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $160
• Transport of the deceased: $55
Thanks for reading all this.

Good luck, Kariuki. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. All the best.
Hope it all works out, Kariuki. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 30 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything
You're not alone, Kariuki. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Kariuki. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
