Sachin, my father, passed away on 25 August after a short illness. He was 86 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sachin to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

Funeral home services and casket is $240 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
