Farewell fund for Ruby: help Eleanor's family in Toronto
After the sudden passing of Ruby, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Ruby, my sister, passed away on 8 July after a short illness. She was 23 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,100 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ruby to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,550
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,850
• Transport of the deceased: $370
• Memorial gathering for the family: $330
