Rubén passed away on 5 June; we're raising $1,300 for a respectful funeral in Iztapalapa.

Rubén, my brother, passed away on 5 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 49 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Rubén to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $810
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $390
• Transport of the deceased: $60
• Memorial gathering for the family: $40
