Mohan, my brother, passed away on 16 August after complications from pneumonia. He was 30 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mohan to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $400 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $30 • Funeral home services and casket: $360 • Memorial gathering for the family: $10 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
