Farewell fund for Mai: help Yui's family in Tokyo
Mai passed away on 26 September; we are raising $1,400 for a respectful funeral in Tokyo.

Mai, my sister, passed away on 26 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 56 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mai to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Tokyo hospice.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $330
• Transport of the deceased: $320
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $750
