Julián passed away on 3 August; we're raising $2,650 for a respectful funeral in Madrid.

Julián, my father, passed away on 3 August after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 16 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Julián to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Transport of the deceased: $110
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,150
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,390
