Farewell fund for Joko: help Rudi's family in Ubud
Rudi lost his uncle suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $450.
🇮🇩 Indonesia695 views
Joko, my uncle, passed away on 20 August after a sudden heart attack. He was 46 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 1 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Joko to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $450 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $250
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $105
• Transport of the deceased: $40
• Memorial gathering for the family: $55
Thanks for reading all this.

Stay strong, Rudi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Ubud!
So sorry you're going through this, Rudi. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Ubud
You're not alone, Rudi. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
